SEARCH FOR LIGHT AND BACKGROUNDS

Carl’s philosophy of portraiture has been simple… “Background with depth and dimension without distractions. Simultaneously good light with direction and texture. Place subject with-in that combination.” With this in mind good artistic images can be created. Go along with Carl on a journey to find locations that will make nice portraits. He will show the locations through the video and through the use of still images created in those locations. He will discuss backgrounds on location as well as in your own camera room. Live demonstrations of posing with-in the light with a maternity session and a senior girl also help bring all the information alive in this two-hour video.
